You are supplied with an electronic unit and battery case mounted on a velcro strap.This is worn on your leg and is hidden under your pants.It will charge your body with static electricity which will allow you to create static electric shocks and perform amazing experiments.

First,you must place a 9 volt battery in the battery case.Make sure the switch on the battery case is in the 'OFF' position.Next, lift up on one end of the small velcro strap that holds the battery case in place.You will now be able to access the back panel of the case and slide it off with your thumb.Place the battery inside and plug it firmly into the metal terminals.Replace the cover and strap.YOU MUST USE A NEW BATTERY OR THE POWER OUTPUT OF THE UNIT WILL BE GREATLY REDUCED.

Now you need to create a metal ground plate.Cut out a 3 inch square piece of aluminum foil and glue it to the bottom of your shoe's heel with rubber cement(or any non permanent glue).Double sided tape could also be used. YOU MUST USE SHOES WITH A RUBBER SOLE OR YOUR BODY WON'T MAINTAIN AN ELECTRIC CHARGE.

Next, wrap the velcro stap with the electronic unit firmly around your leg about 2 inches under your knee.Be sure the electronic unit and battery pack are on the INSIDE of your leg.Now tape the end of the RED wire directly to the skin on your leg(duct tape or electrical tape works best).This is the ion attenna that will charge your body with electricity.

Finally,tape the exposed end of the BLACK wire to the foil plate on the bottom of your shoe.Don't use too much tape because most of the foil must remain exposed so it comes in direct contact with the floor.

When you are ready to perform,be sure BOTH of your shoes are on.Feel for the switch on the battery case through the material of your pants and slide it to the 'ON' position.Remove your hand quickly to avoid any minor shocks from the unit.This will charge the unit and allow you create static electric shocks by touching people and some GROUNDED metal objects.It may take up to 20 seconds for your body to develop an optimum charge.DO NOT SIT DOWN OR LEAN AGAINST ANYTHING OR YOUR BODY WON'T CHARGE.THIS DEVICE WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE STANDING ON CARPETED OR WOODEN FLOOR SURFACES.DO NOT TOUCH ANY ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT WHILE THE UNIT IS CHARGED.ALSO,AVOID RAINY DAYS AS HUMIDITY GREATLY REDUCES STATIC ELECTRICITY.

When you are ready to turn the unit off,use a pencil eraser or other non metallic material to slide the switch off.This will help prevent minor shocks from the unit.You could also sit down so that you are grounded and simply turn it off with your finger.

Place the palm of your hand next to a very thin stream of water and it will bend towards your hand.

Hold a small 18 inch fluorescent light bulb by one of the metal terminals and touch the other terminal to a grounded metal surface.Charge the unit and the bulb flicker on and off in the dark.
